It makes me feel like I really am his child and he really has got it all under control. Because the converse is that he gives us SO much freedom - which I don't want it any other way, we get to learn the stuff we need to learn and own it for ourselves, and it feels like co-creating in some way. But the opposite of all that massive freedom is sometimes feeling like he's just sitting back and letting us go. So when stuff like that happens ... well, it's a comfort, hey, Lou? I think it is such a relief when he just does his thing despite what we had planned. It makes me feel like I really am his child and he really has got it all under control.
